- Plug the mirror in. After a minute the glass shows the LUX welcome screen.
- On your phone, open the LUX Mirror app as an owner or manager, go to Devices, and tap Add mirror. Allow Bluetooth when the phone asks.
- Stand within a few metres. The app lists the mirror it finds; tap it.
- The mirror shows a six-digit code on the glass. Type it into the app.
- Enter the salon's Wi-Fi name and password when asked. The mirror connects and shows Online in the app.
- Give the mirror a name — the chair or the stylist it belongs to — so alerts and the fleet list make sense.
Pairing is owner- and manager-only. Stylists use the mirror; they do not pair it.
If the app cannot find the mirror
Move closer, check that Bluetooth is on, and give the mirror a minute after power-up. If your phone paired with this mirror before and now refuses to connect, forget the mirror in your phone's Bluetooth settings and try again.
