You never type anything on the mirror. During pairing, the LUX Mirror app asks for your salon's Wi-Fi name and password and hands them to the mirror over Bluetooth.
What the network needs
- Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 or 5 GHz) with a password. Open networks and networks with a sign-in page (captive portals) do not work.
- A signal strong enough at the chair — if your phone shows one bar there, the mirror will struggle too.
- No client isolation on the salon network if you want the app to reach the mirror directly; most home-style routers are fine as they are.
If the Wi-Fi changes later
A new router, a new password or a new network name all mean the mirror needs the details again. Open the mirror in the LUX Mirror app, remove it, and pair it again — the Wi-Fi step comes round in the same flow.
