Between appointments the mirror is just a mirror: the display is off. It wakes for the chair's appointment and shows what the salon has chosen — the booking details, a look preview, or the idle screen.
At the chair
- Open the mirror in the LUX Mirror app and pick a mode. The presets cover the common cases: looks, booking, quiet, and off.
- Try a gesture: face the mirror at arm's length, raise a hand to chest height, and hold it still for a second. The mirror responds on the glass.
- Take a photo only once the client has agreed; the consent prompt appears on the glass and the photo lands in your business's private library.
What to tell the client
There is a camera. It is processed on the mirror, not streamed anywhere, and nothing is recorded unless the stylist takes a photo with the client's consent. The idle screen carries the same notice.
